Kati is an enthusiast entrepreneur who has maintained a life-long passion and admiration for interior decorating and design. Kati founded K Carter Interiors in 2017 bringing sophisticated & approachable design to home and business owners seeking to refine their spaces. Since opening her doors, Kati has experienced tremendous success, leading her firm to several online features, serving for a design non-profit organization providing trauma victims and underprivileged families with new spaces, is a business coach and mentor for dozens of up and coming interior decorators, launched an online shop providing a plethora of design business tools and resources, invited to attend events and join several local designer networking organizations - all in addition to overseeing the creative and business operations of K Carter Interiors.

A graduate of George Mason University with a BA in Psychology, Kati's education helps lead her firm with the strong belief that design has the power to positively shift your emotions and environment. For Kati, it's all about serving her clients at the highest level of excellence and ensuring that she achieves their version of livable luxury. Kati resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and encourager, Tommy, and their two children Leilani and Liam.
